Allergic contact dermatitis in atopic dermatitis patients

Simon Ritchie, MD, lists the difficulties of being able to derive an association between atopic dermatitis (AD) and allergic contact dermatitis.

Some of these difficulties include studies that use different inclusion criteria, the many strategies for performing patient patch testing, and the conclusion around patients who may or may not have had a current or part history of AD.
