A recent review evaluated the known efficacy and safety of miscellaneous agents that are being studied for the treatment of atopic dermatitis. These agents include targeted topical, oral systemic and biologic agents.
Although limited clinical data exist for many of the agents, the review article notes that several still hold therapeutic promise for ADand continued research is warranted.
