A study set out to determine the trends and determinants of outpatient healthcare utilization in United States (US) for adults with atopic dermatitis.
Data from the 1993-2015 National Ambulatory Medical Care Survey were collected and analyzed and included 110,095 pediatric and 642,140 adult outpatient visits.
Results showed that while outpatient visits increased in the US overall, outpatient visits for dermatologists decreased.
