Conditions that may be associated with atopic dermatitis (AD) include rhinitis/rhinoconjunctivitis, asthma, food allergy, sleep disturbance, depression, and other neuropsychiatric conditions.
The recommendation for these possible associations is for physicians to be aware of them and discuss them, when appropriate, with patients as part of treatment and management of AD.
