Case report shows remission of alopecia universalis in a patient with atopic dermatitis treated with dupilumab

Data has established that patients with atopic dermatitis (AD) are at an increased risk of developing alopecia areata (AA).

A case report involving a 35-year-old woman with AD since childhood, and an 8-year history with AA, revealed improvement in pruritus, AD, and hair regrowth with treatment of dupilumab.

More research is currently underway.
